Can I send mass emails from my own email address?

Yes, as long as you use your own custom domain for your login email address.

By default, your mass emails will be sent from a unique email address that is assigned to your account when you sign up. This ‘From’ email address is used by default in order to maximize the deliverability of your mass emails. This is because the IXACT Contact email sending servers are not authorized to send emails from other domains. In order to prevent spam email, emails sent with a From email address at a domain from a server that is not authorized to send emails from that domain have a high likelihood of being blocked by receiving email servers.

However, you do have the option to send your mass emails from the email address that you use to login to IXACT Contact, as long as you own the email address domain. You cannot do this if you use an email address from by a free email provider like Gmail or Yahoo.

You might want to do this to take advantage of this option due to the reputation that your own email address has previously earned with your email recipients prior to signing up for IXACT Contact, and the positive impact that this will have on the ongoing deliverability of your emails.
